Incline DB Press-
75 x 8
80 x 6
Pretty weak but my chest was DONE after that. I'll hit 80's for double digits next time around.
BB Upright Rows-
115 x 9, 780 x 15
No shoulder pain, just a wicked pump. Did this with a slight forward lean.
Neutral Grip Pullups-
BW x 8, 8, 5
These usually hit my upper back pretty hard and involve my lats some but this time it was all lats the whole time. Love this exercise. Pulled toward my lower sternum and tried to pause at the top and go slow on the way down. I won't add any weight to these until I can hit at least 3 sets for double digits.
Paused Wide Grip Pulldowns-
120 x 12, 120 x 7
I wouldn't call this a widowmaker, just a little extra very focused volume. Did this with at least a 1-2 second pause at the bottom and a slow negative.
Rack Deads-
135 x 10, 225 x 10
No idea what was goin on today but my mind muscle connection with my back was unbelievable. My lower lats and erectors were definitely doing all the work. I really like doing these high rep too. When I start going lower like the 4-6 range I don't feel it in my back.
