It hurts so damn good lol

I thought I would just let you guys know that my upper back between my shoulder blades is tore up after the trap bar deads yesterday. My abs are starting to feel it more and more as the day goes on as well.

I took Wendlers advice from the 5/3/1 ebook and instead of holding the weight on my chest like a douche during my decline sit ups, I put it behind my head. I started with a 20 pound barbell and quickly realized that I wasn't going to be moving with that much weight lol. I dropped it down to a 10 pound plate and still had a hell of a time getting full range of motion.

On the hanging straight leg raises I attempted to take my legs from the floor all the way up and touching the pull up bar. Not only does it make it a ridiculously hard ab exercise, it turns it into a full body exercise. I did 2 sets of less then five reps because I literally couldn't get any more then that.

I'm going to work those two exercises pretty hard the next couple months along with suit case deadlifts.

So far I have 2 maxes set for this next training cycle and I'm getting my incline bench max done later today. With any luck I'll get in to squat tomorrow, have the whole weekend off for rest and cardio then come out swinging on Monday.
