A big reason that I've stepped back from DC for a minute to reevaluate is that I've gone back and reread a bunch of DC's posts about exercise selection and I decided I was to hasty to get back at it.
Part of my problem has been that I've lost my groove with some exercises that used to be really effective for me because I sacrificed ROM for more weight. This is mainly on my chest exercises and my back width exercises. Another reason is that I've been using many of the same exercises every blast and I'm hitting walls on a bunch of them all at once. Dips, incline smith, incline db press, cg bench, and barbell rows are what come to mind right off the bat. And, judging by my current numbers all of those are currently making very damn little progress.
On legs the machine lifts I'm getting stronger at but stuff like squats and front squats kill me because of bad form. I have to get that down w/ lighter weight before I start trying to rep out weights that are near my max.
I'm going to reevaluate my form and each and every exercise before I start back w/ my new blast. I'm not wasting time doing exercises in an uneffective manner anymore.
